Senior Softball Night

Well, except for the tournament tomorrow in Pierce Co, which, in all reality should find us back home by, say... 3pm. Our softball days are over. THANK GOD! That's not entirely true. Up until this year, I have loved every minute of every practice, game and trip. I really don't know what I'll do with myself with no softball games to go watch, but I'm sure Wayne will find me something... Ha ha!

Last night was the last home game, and therefor, senior night. They won the game against Long County 5-0 (my girls at least got to bat & made several great hits). They had a great ceremony after the game, introducing each girl and their escorts and telling a little about each player. It was really emotional. I can't imagine how we'll react at graduation... Tonya and Emily both came out to see the girls take their last walk across home plate. Thanks, ya'll, for your never ending support!

Next up, Senior athlete night on the football field. It's sometime in November, I think, but will keep you posted.

The girls have gone to Hazlehurst tonight to the football game. Wayne is under the carport washing and detailing his old truck (Yes, Baxter's finished it in time). He's going to do the car show in Reidsville tomorrow while Corey and I traipse to Blackshear to the softball tournament. Hope he comes home with us a trophy! He's looking at this as a practice for the show next month in Richmond Hill. Wish him luck!
