Thankfully, we are in our last week of softball, all home games, and all painfull. The drama continues, and no one cares whether we continue or not. It's just a matter of being there at this point. Ya'll just can't imagine ~ the up side of last night's game against Bleckley was that Jessica got to start at 1st and both batted a couple of times. All in all, this was a stellar night for the Mobleys. Sad, huh? Always the dedicated aunt, Tonya suffered through with me and Wayne, bless her. Again, 3 games and we're out of this horrible situation and someone else can deal with it next year, if the coach is still around... Wow.
We're also getting ready for the Wiregrass parade and car show on Saturday in Reidsville. Ya'll come out! Should be a large time. Baxter told Wayne to bring the old truck back yesterday morning and he'd get the door re-painted and the other little things finished this week. So, we did. And when he came through town at 4:30, it was still parked out front, hadn't been touched. So, Stacy went with him and they picked it back up and put it back in the shop. He's got too much in it (heart and money) and doesn't leave it parked in the yard at home, so... No call from Baxter asking what happened, so I don't know. But, I'm excited about the show on Saturday, and we have another one in Richmond Hill Oct 17th. Should be great fun!
P. S. (Happy birthday, Granny. I miss you!)
