Siblings

I don't think I had a true sibling relationship growing up. I didn't get brothers until I was 11 years old. After that point, I can trully say, we got along famously, I think. There are some days, and seems like more often than not, that my girls act like they trully can't stand the sight of each other. Now, I know it's different with twins, especially since they still live in the same house, and travel to school together every day, and are in all the same classes with each other. But, folks, you just have no idea the pure venom that pours from their mouths. I don't get it. We keep trying to tell them they will one day regret the things they say to each other, and the distance they are placing between them. God has no greater gift than a sibling. A true friend that will always be there, no matter where life takes you. Please help me in prayers for my girls and their relationship ~ they need it!

  1. You are so right!! I see that with my boys sometimes because they are so CLOSE in age, it seems like they are twins. I remind them all the time that they will ALWAYS be brothers and hopefully, ALWAYS be friends!! :) A friend loves at all times...Proverbs 17:17

  2. I don't understand the twins thing, but I can relate to the venom that comes along with siblings. I try to tell kids that they need to treasure one another each day.
