Everybody has a father, and most folks have a daddy. But, few can claim one like mine... Everybody knows JV. He's such a card, and always has something going on (usually to mess with someone, haha). Growing up, he was definately the cool daddy. I can honestly say, I never went through the not wanting to be around him phase. Wherever my daddy was, whatever my daddy was doing, that was where I wanted to be. Always. I was checking fishing traps in the river before I could sit up good. Shrimping at the coast toddling around n diapers, and when you need a change, he'd throw me up on the cooler, get me a fresh one, and roll on. LOL! In my early teens, I could re-build a 5 horse Briggs as well as anyone, 'cause I hung out in the shop with my daddy. When Tracy came into our lives, we took up go-cart racing, and EVERY Friday night was spent tweeking and cranking, and EVERY Saturday we were at some track or the other, me and daddy being the pit crew. Even after Wayne and I married, we hung out at daddy's. He's always telling me I coulda done better, but he loves Wayne like another son. LOL! I miss him terribly, all the time, 'cause we just don't get over to see him like we should, our schedules are so crammed... But, on this 64th anniversary of his birth, I just want to say ~ Daddy, I LOVE YOU! And hope you have the greatest day ever ~

You always know just how to put it... but, u do realize I know where you got that gift for gab! LOL!
