Getting there ~

Worked hard on Saturday. The girls picked up limbs, I cut grass and Jessica weed-ate (LOL!) at Gould's, while Wayne plumbed. Oh, Lord, it was hot! But, the place looks GREAT, and we have a septic system (thanks, Brother Dave), and a usable toilet and shower, WITH hot water. 'Course, there's no walls around 'em, so you can't be bashful... We'll fix that, and get the sink installed with counters in the next few weeks, I hope, and we're in. It seems like such a long time coming, and we can't wait! Here's a little shot of the toilet installation. Took all hands and the cook ~
We've also been running the air conditioning the last couple of days we've been down there working, just to see how effective it'll be. I think it's gonna be fine. If we turn it on Friday night when we get there, it'll cool sufficiently to keep us sleeping cool, then being cool the rest of the weekend. If we can keep the door from swinging too so very much.

'Course, with any place at the coast, dirt/sand is gonna be an issue. But, I've several ideas on that as well. Will just have to try each one until we get some results we can work with.

Spent the night Saturday at Mema's coast house with Emily and the kids. Has been quite a while, and enjoyed their company very much. We headed out shortly after breakfast to get Megan home so she could go to Cobbtown to see "The Green Lantern". Good grief! But, Lord, don't mention the tatoo, or a totum pole around her... Sheesh ~

Well, it's off to the races. I've got to work a whole 40 hour/5 day week this week. With doctor's appointments, and girlie things, and furlough days, this hasn't happened in over a month. Pray for me ~
