On the way back to our dock, we saw the largest split-tailed hawk I think I've ever seen. We bothered her, causing her to drop her fish, but check out those tallons... I'd hate to know she got ahold of me!
Sunday morning, Wayne decided to get us some live bait, and we fished. HOT? Yeah. But, still had a blast! Nothing but shark at our first stop. Lots of small ones that would even follow your sinker to the top attacking it all the way (really made you want to go for a swim, I tell you). But, some larger ones as well... both girls caught nearly identical hammer heads, probably 3 feet or better ~
Then I picked up a black tip that was nearly 4 feet ~
The girls picked up some whiting, and Wayne a bass, and after tiring of the shark attack, we moved up to "The Bar Tenders" dock at Barbour Island (which provided a little shade by the way), and also for the mama to catch two sizeable drum. Can you tell I'm not thrilled about doing the Bill Dance pose? LOL!
We finished it off with a cool-down trip back to "our" sandbar, where the girls gave me more then a little reminder of growing up with Tracy... LOL! Love ya, Monk! Oh, and you should see the video of the water spouts... hillarious!
By the way, there's nothing in Jessica's eye. She just can't wink on her own... to wink, she has to hold her eyelid down with her finger... Yeah ~ a RIOT!

Love the pics and sounds like fun...you may need to tell us where that shark hole is because my boys would love to catch some that size...they would think they had hooked a Great White!!!
