Spring Break 2010

Please forgive the number of pictures, but they do say they're worth a thousand words. And I KNOW nobody wants to read that much of anything I write... LOL!

Since this was the girls last spring break before college starts June 3rd, Wayne and I took off work to spend some quality time with them, and it was WONDERFUL! We worked a little at the lot at Gould's. Had eye doctor appointments, had boys join us, and got a visit in with Da and Grandma, too. Corey came down Wednesday night and got some quality mud time at Gould's ~

On Thursday, Dalton joined us, and while waiting for Tyler to arrive on Friday, they took on the task of teaching Wayne to play spoons ~ What a riot!

We hadn't been to see the work they've been doing on the bluff behind Da's house. It was shocking, to say the least, at the difference. Both the fishing tree and shade trees are all gone ~

And look how pretty my boy is ~

Saturday gave us some beach time. It was a little cool, but that didn't stop the shenanigans with the teenagers ~ Corey learned that shear determination and grit will out-do horsepower, as Tyler man-handled him into the water, 'course then Corey took Megan down for laughing at him, and Tyler took Dalton down just for being there...
Then, we had some time for teen love... awwww ~

And, time for one more project to help Da before we left yesterday. The walkway to the dock was cracking and they weren't sure when the contractors were coming back to finish. Well, Da and Wayne have decided Tyler is handy, anyway. I think he got a thumbs up from the tough crowd. He hasn't been around the coast much, and his mama said today he was looking a little like a mexican with his new tan. LOL! He's more used to just the farmer tan, I think. Oh, well. Hang around ~ it only gets better when the weather warms up!
