Those Were The Days

I've talked about it before. Those people in your life that you don't really know where they came from, but know they'll always be there, and you're sure glad of it ~ This week, a very dear lady to me celebrated her birthday ~ Mrs. Vicki Nelson. Just small town and luck, I guess, but thankfully, she's one of my favorite people in the world, married to another one, and I love 'em both to death. Well, in honor of her birthday, I attempted to make time to dig out some old photos to share. How'd that go? NOT TOO GOOD! Seems I hardly find time to breathe, and the one I did find wasn't even of her, but did contain some of her kids. This is another dear friend, Ms. Paula DeLoach, with her son, David, and Ms Vicki's Michelle and BJ at that same sandbar across from Contentment that my girls have been raised on, "The Redneck Riviera". Oh, the times we had! What wonderful memories, and Lord knows where I'd be without these wonderful people contributing to my moulding and shaping through my life. Love ya'll!
And he's gonna kill me for sure, but take a look at this fellow, also a mud minnow at that same sandbar. Love ya, Trace!
And check out these water-skiing brothers! Yeah, that's my daddy and Uncle Asa ~ they should've been in a show at Callaway Gardens! 'Course I think they're ratings system stopped at PG, which kept them both out...
Oh, and Heidi. Recognize anyone here? LOL! They haven't gotten him muddy yet, but it's not over ~
