What a wonderful B-day!

You know, some years, no matter what you do or have planned, your birthday just sucks. Well, folks, this was not one of those years. IT WAS WONDERFUL! We were at Sapelo w/my daddy, stress free, absolutely perfect weather and no place to be & no schedule to follow. Wayne and Daddy had worked on the little boat all weekend. I got in some reading, some picture taking & a lot of just being where I wanted to be. Sunday was actually my day, and after a leasurely breakfast and turning the house around for the next guests, we tooled around and piddled here and there. We actually had to go get the girls from the beach. They walked from Nannygoat, past the secret beach, past Jim & Rhody's & through the Big Hole. Overall, about 4 miles one way. They were so happy! We got them cleaned up a bit, then pulled out for the mainland. Had a late lunch in Darien before heading into Brunswick for some little boat supply shopping, before heading home. Doesn't some like much, but it was a fantastic day! I couldn't have asked for more. We had all these grand plans and other folks planned in, but just didn't work out. Everyone just had other things they'd rather do when the Blessing trip was canceled, but Blessings come in different ways, and my B-day was truly blessed.
