Hump Day

Hooray for Hump Day! We're half way there. It's been a long week. The girls have mid-point exams, which always stress the whole house, but they're managing and have only 1 more day left. School is out on Fri and Mon, but they're going in on Fri anyway for the Graduation test cram session. It's not of much use, they tell me, but a great time for socializing. Like they don't get enough of that. Jessica & I didn't make it to Savannah last night. We felt her studying for the Spanish mid-term was more important. Lord, please just get us through this final 9 wks and hope we never see a Spanish class again! They eat it well, but can't speak it for the devil! Anyway, my brother has been out of town this week and asked us to get his son to school for him. His mom drops him off about 6:15, and he entertains us until time to leave for school. He's such a hoot! I've certainly learned some new things. We don't get to see enough of them, and that's one of my biggest regrets in our busy life. We visited w/them on Sun a little while 4-wheeler riding & Matthew introduced us to his bogging holes. Can't wait to get him off with our riding crew this summer. He'll have a blast! We tend to be a little "extreme".

Matthew left his PSP at our house yesterday and the girls & I tried to play it. Boy, are we techno dummies! He said this morning, "I see you tried to play PSP. How long did it take you to open the case?" Smarty-pants, about 5 mins... just to get the case open. Never did figure out how to move the little guy from room to room. Oh, well, not like I have lots of time to play anyway. I still would like one of those DS with the memory games, etc. I need all the help I can get to stay sharp. Seems like I forget more each day. Well, nuff for now ~

  2. This is GREAT!!! What a neat way to keep in touch. I didn't even know what a blog was, I had to asked one of the younger girls in the office. I am so out of touch. I do have a facebook page, not much on it, but I do have one so that is a start.
