It's been a crazy busy week around here for some reason. Seems we've run every which-a-way and met ourselves in the road. Wayne's been off a day or two and working on getting our shop built at the coast. Can't wait to get that thing set-up I tell you! He's run into a snag or two the last couple of days, but things are still on target. Concrete should be poured tomorrow and the actual building is on order. So, Da... what you doing, say every weekend from mid-March to mid-April? LOL! There will be plumbing and wiring and all manner of odds and ends, I'm sure.
The girls have come to my office after school the last couple of days to help out. They are such wonderful young ladies, if I do say so myself! They've filed and pulled records and sorted until they've actually gone to bed already tonight, and it's only 8:30. They were excited when I told them they couldn't come tomorrow. Said they needed a break anyway. HA! If they only knew what real work was about... But, I'm glad we've been able to protect them from that harsh reality this long. They'll have to work the rest of their lives, so I'm glad they got to enjoy their teenage years without worrying about having to work. We have been blessed, that's for sure!
Not sure what's on tap for the weekend. Certainly will have to go check out what's been going on at the coast all week at some point... maybe we can rangle that into a trip to the Buck. You think?
Special prayers going out tonight to Michael and Charity for his surgery and her, well, in general. And to the Wayne Rogers family. I have something I want to get off my chest there, but will have to wait a few days until I think I can. You know. Haven't talked with Chick in a few days, hope she's feeling better. And praying for my Tyler, who is in Texas training before going to Iraq for 6 months. Love him to pieces ~ he was my first kid. LOL!
