Great Saturday Entertainment!

The girls had to march in the MLK parade yesterday morning, so when they came in, and showered, again (they say band geek smell is bad enough, but add in WET band geek? UGH!) we headed out to Alabama for a spa party at Monica's. Oh, it was wonderful! And so very relaxing ~ ya'll be looking for an invite when I book my party at Diane's next month... ha ha!

Again, got cleaned up and back to town. Monica had acquired she and I tickets to the last Tattnall Production show of the year. IT WAS GREAT! Glennville, etc., has some amazing tallents, and Nancy and Marvelle pack so much into the show, it is just non-stop. Terrific! And, debuing this year, was my cousin Heather. I was so proud of her ~ Her first song was "You're So Vain", and she did a great job, but it was her second song I was looking forward to. She said at intermission not to get my hopes up because it was a train wreck in rehersals, but when the pressure was on... WOW! She nailed it! It was "Blue Bayou", a very difficult song, and again, she nailed it. I was so tickled for her!

The usual cut-ups were back, "It's me again, Margaret" had us in stiches, and when Scott came sliding out across that stage in his white shirt, undies and socks doing Tom Cruise in "Risky Business", I thought that row of Howard's in front of us was going to faint! What a treat! If ya'll haven't taken in this entertainment before, mark your calendars for next January, and get you some tickets. It's well worth it, and let's face it, what else have you to do on a Saturday night in Glennville? LOL~
