Whew~

Been a crazy week, and next week doesn't look much better. Sure will be glad for my Christmas break! Anyway, had our Family Friday with the Maunds, Pierces and Mobleys Friday night. This was a tradition a few years ago that kinda got lost along the way with the kids schedules. But, Mema has TOLD us we will be doing Fridays again, and by George, we've made 2 in a row. It's a good start, and sure is GREAT. Family is wonderful, and we never slow down long enough to enjoy it like we should. We either gather at Mema's house or one of ours, or if no one wants to cook, we'll choose a restaurant. I'm so glad we're back at it ~

Saturday was supposed to be nasty (80% chance of rain), so Wayne opted to skip the Cobbtown Christmas Parade, but we trecked up there anyway, as Corey's parents were having a Christmas party day and wanted us to stop in. Got to meet Zeus ~ GEEZ! He's a white Great Peraneas, but I really don't think you can call him a dog, more like a bear. I'll see if Megan can get a picture of him. I don't think I've ever seen a dog this big. But, he's SOOO sweet. Thank God!

We left the girls in Cobbtown to do the band thing in the parade, then they were going to the SADD dance at the high school. Wayne and I took off to Savannah for round 1 of the Christmas shopping. Now, I don't usually drag Wayne with me... he doesn't "shop" well. But, since budgets are limited, and there really wasn't that many places I had to stop, I chanced it. And he was GREAT! He drove, navigated, parked, held bags and packages and put his 2 cents worth in occasionally. He even took me to Outback as a "we're done for the day" celebration. I really enjoyed the trip, and got a LOT done.

The girls and I took off after lunch today to Darien to get their school pal gifts, so knocked out a few more, and managed to find them some shoes they wanted. See, we're having a dilema this year. The girls have refused to tell us anything that they want. Well, I take that back. Megan has said nothing. Jessica wants some monkey stuff and fuzzy pajama pants... sure makes Santa's job hard.

Well, let me go finish supper... Jessica has gone to Paul's, so it'll just be the 3 of us tonight. Ya'll have a great week!
