What a great weekend!

Say it again... What a GREAT weekend! Wayne and the girls headed out after lunch on Tuesday, got to Contentment, got the boat in and lit out to Sapelo. When I got off work, Me and Pepe' went to Meridian and met up with Da where Wayne retrieved us. Wednesday and Thursday we fished and caught bait, and fished some more. Results were pretty poor, but what the hey, we were at the coast.

Michael and his boss, Andre, came in Thursday night, and we all got up early Friday morning and headed over to Sapelo Sound for some BIG shrimp. Let me just say, BEAUTIFUL DAY! Anyway, got about 25-30 pounds of shrimp and headed back before the storm moved in late day, which was also beautiful.

The girls left Friday to come home so they could go to the football game in Pierce County, then came back Saturday morning early, with Corey in tow. Wayne took them all out for a little more shrimping and some fishing. Corey was not impressed. He doesn't touch fish or shrimp, doesn't like to fish, and wasn't interested in throwing the net, you know, it's fishy and all. I just don't know about that boy...

We got up this morning and Wayne brought me and Pepe' back to Meridian to come home with the luggage and shrimp/fish to get in the freezer, while him, Corey and the girls headed back to Sapelo Sound for some more shrimp, then a little fishing when the tide turned before heading to Contentment to get the boat back out and head home. Hope they do as well today as we did before!

The girls have school tomorrow. Makes sense you know, since it's a federal holiday and all... Pepe' is feeling MUCH better, but Dr Steve wanted to see him after 1 week on his insulin shots, so we'll make that trip in the morning. Hope all have had as great a holiday weekend as we have ~
