Softball season has begun

Whew! What a night! We started the Glennville Bank tournament last night with the Lady Warriors first game against Jenkins County ending in a win, 7-3. Second game was against Liberty County, who if I'm not mistaken, has beaten us every game we've played in the last 4 years. And, again last night. But, you can definitely see the hard work these girls have put in this summer with the new coach, because they didn't just walk away with it. The game was called for time in the 6th inning and we were tied 2-2, putting us into a tie-breaker in which they came out ahead 4-3. But, I'm telling you now ~ they played their hearts out! The Atlanta Braves haven't had that much excitement in their stands in years! They're scheduled to play again today at 1, so wish them luck ~ GO LADY WARRIORS!
