Well, we've had an eventful few days. Saturday, the girls had plans with friends, so we left them at home with a rather large chore list to complete before their "date", and Wayne & I took off for the coast. Now, I know what you're thinking. How cruel! But, let me tell you, the girls got the better end of the deal. We worked like Tobies! We went to our lot at Gould's Landing on Harris Neck and picked up limbs, cut grass, weed ate *LOL*, and planted sago palms. Hot? Yeah. Tired? Yeah. But, it was worth it. The place looked wonderful when we left. Can't wait to build and stay...
When we got home, we trekked over to Big Daddy's house and got my new (to me) car. I LOVE IT! Again, I know. I know. I just got the Corvette. And we weren't planning on this, but when opportunity knocks, sometimes you just have to open the door. It's a 1998 Lexus GS400, with only 15k miles on it. It's harvest gold metallic with tan leather and a sun roof. Amazingly enough, when you get in, you can still smell new car smell. It is amazing. It has some great motor and tranny, I don't know... blah, blah, blah, blah... that makes Wayne happy, so I guess it's all good. So, if ya'll know of anyone in the market for a Corvette, please send them our way. We can make 'em a deal and hook 'em up quick.
Yesterday was a day of detailing vehicles. We did all 4 and are ready for the new week. Wayne and I make a short run to Wally World and home for homemade taco salads for supper. Yum! So, all in all, ready for a new week ~

Thanks for wishing us teachers "Good Luck" on our first day back at work. It is so kind of you to think of us!! :~) Hope you have a great week!!
