Wonderful holiday

Well, the girls made it home from Toccoa Friday, and had a great trip. They, of course, didn't get any pictures of the rafting, which was the absolute best part of the trip. But, we've ordered the complete CD & should have it in 2-3 weeks & will share. There are some really great shots! My girls were the lead in their boat, putting them in the front... their teacher seems to think they have some uncanny twin telepathy thing going on. Oh, little does she know. They barely speak these days on good ones. But, it worked out in the end.

The girls and I made a Wal-fart run Sat am to get their new lenses put in their glasses. They now have no excuse. They can see! Wayne went out to the high school for the GA CHIP program. They ID'd 220+ kids Saturday alone! Way to go guys! If ya'll missed this one, I'll be sure & post the next one so you can all get your children ID'd. Great program!

Sun was busy, busy, but oh, the greatest. We got up early and hit the ferry at Meridian and went to Sapelo for the day. Daddy has been working so hard on the little boat, and it's about ready for stain. The smallest touches here and there make it so personal, and so very special. We will never be able to thank him enough. 'Course if him and Wayne don't stop talking about the need for a motor upgrade now, I think I may choke them both!

We had a holiday today. Confederate Memorial Day, for those of you out of the loop. Had to head down to Dr Cobb's for some blood work, then another Wal-fart trip for Wayne a haircut. Stopped at Baxter's for a few on the way into town and he was working on Wayne's truck whole-hearted (when when he wasn't fussing... ) He and Joe were right above the wreck at the NASCAR race yesterday & glad they didn't have better seats (LOL).

Well, the girls have gone to work for the evening, Wayne's headed to Lodge. I think me & Pepe' will pick up some Mexican & turn on "The Closer".
